Grin GrinHi..

Oh you bring me back.. the last block has just been knocked down.  they used the first tower crane we had ever seen.  Jim Turner  RIP made us all cranes just like it. we watched with great interest the blocks growing up and up.   And poor David Byrne RIP, was killed by a truck bringing a big machine to the site.
They were great times,  sad to think the flats are gone.

Hi,

Blondie, are you B.D. (daughter of J.  by any chance)...Jim died around 1964-5...I lost touvch with Mary. I met Birdie in the U.K. in 1989 and he told me she lived in Hook Norton a pretty town in the Cotswolds, (OXON).

I TOO WAS  A RECEIPIENT OF THE TOWER CRANES AS BICYCLE BILL MENTIONED... FOR THE LIFE OF ME I DO NOT KNOW WHO BIC BILL IS SO PERHAPS YOU COULD P.M.  ME  TO LIFT THE INTRIGUE...
Hope ye are all well
