Click to EnlargeSituated in the picturesque resort of Trearddur Bay this superb heathland course covers over 6,000 yards in length. From a distance it may look somewhat tame with only one serious hill to negotiate. Look a little closer and you will soon realise that not only are the fairways extremely narrow and undulating, but the rough comprises of dense gorse, heather and bracken. Combine this with the wind which can whip across the Irish Sea and you have yourself quite a challenge.

Located on the North West Tip of the Island of Anglesey in North Wales. If you're travelling from the Port of Holyhead, locate the B4545 to Trearddur Bay. The Holyhead Golf Club will be seen on the right hand side approximately two miles from the port.

The greens have a reputation of being the best in North Wales.
