BLOOMSDAY 2000

2000 marks the 79th anniversary of the publication of James Joyce's Ulysses, and the 45th Bloomsday celebrations. The novel describes Leopold Bloom's life on a single day in Dublin - June 16 1904 - that has come to be known as "Bloomsday" among literary fans the world over.
