BUFFALO Joseph Michael Maloney 4168 Gates, New York, May 27th, 1967. Joseph Maloney and his wife June hold a birthday party for their five-year-old son. During the party, Maloney mixes his wife a drink containing vodka and orange juice. Unknown to her, the drink also contains a lethal quantity of methyl alcohol. She is quickly taken ill. On September 25th, 1967, he escapes U.S. custody and flees to Ireland by way of Canada. On January 7th, 1985, Maloney is arrested by Irish federal police. His extradition to the U.S. is approved by an Irish judge in April of that year. But on June 26th, 1986, the Irish Supreme Court overturns the lower court ruling and releases Maloney. He soon disappears. Joseph Michael Maloney was born in Rochester, New York, on September 4th, 1935. He is one-meter ninety centimeters tall, has a slender build and weighs about seventy seven kilograms. He has red hair, which now may be gray, blue eyes, and a light complexion. He may have a gray or white beard. He has a scar on his right eyebrow and a surgical scar on his right abdomen. A U.S. citizen, Maloney has worked as a contractor, an explosives engineer, and a tree surgeon. He is married to an Irish citizen named Sheila O'Shea. They are believed to be traveling together. Maloney has used the alias "Michael O'Shea." He may be in Ireland, Germany, or Canada. He should be considered armed and dangerous.
