Ireland Live Television Launches In Dublin
Published 19/03/2002Ireland Live Television News, a new digital television channel aimed at the global market, will be officially launched in late February, in Dublin with a live broadcast by An Taoiseach, Mr Bertie Ahern, TD.
Part of Ireland Live Television Networks (ILTN), which is being backed by a E 6.35m(IR £5m) investment, Ireland Live Television News, which can be found at www.irelandlivetelevision.tv , offers the world’s first dedicated 24-hour live news channel on broadband. Operating from Founder Andy Ruane’s Anner International facility at 50 Upper Mount Street, Dublin 2, Ireland Live Television News will broadcast to a world-wide audience
Ireland Live Television has a rolling news service that will be repeated and updated every 15 minutes using pictures from its own staff crews making it similar to an Irish Sky News. The 15-minute bulletins cover all the major Irish stories, Irish business news - daily reports from various stockbrokers, Irish sports news and results, international news headlines, a look at all the Irish newspapers, and weather.
